We are thrilled to announce that the impossible has been made possible! The long-awaited moment has arrived as the #BackpacksToDeathCamp project has successfully come to fruition, bringing hope and smiles to the children of the Rukban refugee camp. 🔥🔥🥳🥳🤩🤩

When we first witnessed the heartbreaking sight of children using flour bags, sugar bags, and even old clothes sewn together as makeshift backpacks for school, our determination to make a difference grew stronger. However, we were aware of the immense challenges posed by the heavily restricted Rukban refugee camp. Sending supplies seemed like an insurmountable task, but the unwavering efforts of others over the past seven years paved the way for a breakthrough.

Last summer, the first batch of supplies was successfully delivered to the camp, Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Setf and SSSP organizations joined forces, united by a common goal: to help the people of Rukban refugee camp.

In this journey of compassion, we discovered that impossible tasks can indeed have breakthroughs. Boundaries blurred as nations and people came together, transcending differences and embracing the power of empathy. Even among so-called official adversaries, we witnessed kind-hearted individuals who were willing to do the right thing. 🌍❤️

At this moment, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mimi Chien, whose unwavering support and commitment to corporate social responsibility made this endeavor possible. 🙏🌺 We would also like to express our appreciation to the staff at Hua Nan Bank Shihpai Branch and Dr. Selena, the financial planning expert, for their generous contributions. During the transportation process, we were immensely fortunate to receive significant support from the CEO of the world’s third-largest logistics company. Their assistance ensured substantial discounts on international air freight, enabling us to overcome logistical challenges efficiently. Additionally, collaboration with influential individuals in the Middle East and the military further strengthened our collective efforts. Now, with hearts full of hope and joy, we anticipate the upcoming days when dedicated individuals within the camp will work together to distribute the backpacks to eight schools. Each school will then ensure that every student, from kindergarten to sixth grade, receives a backpack of their own. No longer will they have to rely on makeshift bags; they will carry their belongings in backpacks filled with promise and opportunity! 🥰🥰
